Cooking Up a Storm

Cooking Up a Storm

Perth has awakened beneath a magnificent storm.

The wind rushes through the trees, the rain drums against the windows, and the branches dance and sway like wild ocean waves.

Madame has always adored days like these.

There is something irresistible about a storm. It arrives without apology. It does not ask permission. It simply becomes itself with such conviction that everything around it must take notice.

The moon is full in Sagittarius, and there is a feeling of possibility hanging in the air.

Electricity.

Anticipation.

A sense that something unexpected may be just beyond the horizon.

Perhaps that is why Madame loves stormy weather so much.

Storms remind us that life was never meant to be lived entirely within the lines.

They awaken curiosity.

They stir forgotten desires.

They invite adventure.

As candlelight flickers across antique books and the ocean throws itself against the shore, Madame finds herself watching the weather with a rather mischievous twinkle in her eye.

One never knows what may arrive on the wind.

A letter.

An opportunity.

A dream.

A patron.

Or perhaps simply the courage to follow a desire that has been quietly waiting to be heard.

When forces of nature gather with such power, there is electricity in the air.

And Madame cannot help but wonder…

Who would like to cook up a storm?
